We often hear from people afraid to talk about overpopulation, that the problem is solving itself. Fertility rates are declining and population is predicted to level off by 2050.
There are several reasons we should not adopt this attitude, including the fact that world population is now considered likely to climb past 10 billion and NOT level off in this century.
